1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Open Mic Comics, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our service.

2. Description of Service

Open Mic Comics provides an online platform for registering and managing participation in open mic events. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any security breach
  • Creating more than one account may result in permanent blocking of registration

4. Event Registration

  • Registration is free
  • The organizers will choose who will go up on stage from the registered applications
  • You will be notified by mail if you made the list on the day of the event or one day before
  • Each performer gets a 5-minute slot
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the event starts and ask for the MC
  • The order of performance will be determined on the day
  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the event
  • Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Register for events with no intention of attending
  • Interfere with other users' access to the service
  • Attempt to bypass any security measures
  • Create more than one account

6. Content Guidelines

When performing at events, you must:

  • Respect venue rules and guidelines
  • Respect performance time limits
  • Obtain necessary permissions for copyrighted material

7. Intellectual Property

All content and features of Open Mic Comics are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Event cancellations or changes
  • Venue-related issues
  • Actions of other performers or attendees
  • Technical issues beyond our control

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by EU law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania.
